Greetings Riding for the Disabled Association, here is your latest EasyGrants newsletter (attached), with your monthly dose of the most relevant and up-to-date grants to help your organisation, news about the latest improvements to the Funding Centre, and a new compact course to help you win more grants.

Grant of the month

The Department of Social Services is awarding grants of up to $550,000 for community-led projects and $900,000 for primary prevention activities which aim to stop violence against women and children.

The Preventing Violence against Women and their Children Grants: Men as Role Models <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/grant/G09238?utm_campaign=ongoing&utm_medium=email&utm_source=fundingcentre.com.au>  and Community-led Projects <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/grant/G09237?utm_campaign=ongoing&utm_medium=email&utm_source=fundingcentre.com.au>  streams are part of the National Initiatives grant program, which aims to improve the safety and wellbeing of children, advance gender equality and reduce violence against women and their children.

Applications close:

*	Men as Role Models stream – 24 September 2019
*	Community-led Projects stream – 9 October 2019

$600,000 grant to fight marine pollution

The Coca-Cola Australia Foundation is offering one not-for-profit organisation $200,000 per year for three years to focus on fighting marine pollution through its Flagship Partner Program Grant <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/grant/G07313?utm_campaign=ongoing&utm_medium=email&utm_source=fundingcentre.com.au> .

Organisations with Deductible Gift Recipient Item 1 status are eligible to apply.

$19m for regional scholarships

A total of $19.5 million is available for tertiary education providers in regional Australia to provide scholarships for students studying in regional Australia.

The Destination Australia Grants <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/grant/G09249?utm_campaign=ongoing&utm_medium=email&utm_source=fundingcentre.com.au>  aim to attract international and domestic students to regional Australia and develop regional tertiary education providers.

Funding for local schools

Schools can apply for grants between $1,000 and $20,000 to fund small-scale projects through the Local Schools Community Fund <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/grant/G09234?utm_campaign=ongoing&utm_medium=email&utm_source=fundingcentre.com.au> .

Eligible projects include extensions, installation of ICT facilities, equipment, air-conditioning, counselling for mental health, and more.

Applications close 30 September.
