Hi Riding for the Disabled Association,

The Department of Agriculture and Resources is giving out $20 million over four years to Murray-Darling Basin communities who have been hit the hardest by water recovery activities.

The Murray-Darling Basin Economic Development Grants <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/grant/G08910?utm_campaign=ongoing&utm_medium=email&utm_source=fundingcentre.com.au>  are an initiative of the Australian Government’s $3.3. billion Basin Plan commitments package <http://www.agriculture.gov.au/water/mdb/basin-plan/commitments>  and will provide funding between $10,000 and $500,000 for projects which aim to:

*	Develop business and risk management, strategic planning and leadership skills
*	Strengthen workforce capabilities 
*	Deliver Indigenous-focussed outcomes
*	Develop industry networks 
*	Integrate new technology for improved capability, productivity and competitiveness
*	Help local business to grow and/or diversify
*	Address barriers to commerce including inadequate mobile or internet services
*	Address environmental needs
*	Address and improve on infrastructure challenges impacting on local industry
*	Strengthen supply chain efficiencies and linkages
*	Delivery strategic planning that responds to economic challenges faced as a result of water recovery activities under the Basin Plan.

Local government, Indigenous corporations, cooperatives and incorporated associations in the regions outlined below are eligible to apply:
