[Centres] FW: Announcing the 2019 Australia Post Community Grants

Hello everyone.

Australia Post has opened its Community Grants offering.  Details are in the history to this email.

Applications under this grant process need to be made by a corporation.  Therefore, if any Centre is considering making an application under the grant criteria, please note that the application is to be put through State Office and preferably signed off by a Director.  

I have spoken to the Grants team of Australia Post about this and they say that it is advisable if Centres notify State Office of their intention to lodge an application so that there could be some coordination of the process in the event that there is more than one Centre wishing to apply for a grant.

We're offering grants of up to $10,000 for eligible projects that help people to connect with each other to address local needs, promote leadership and prevent barriers to participation in community life. 

Applications are open from today until midnight 4 August 2019 (AEST).
