Hi there, 

 

I’m looking to donate a horse. He is a 14 year old QH x Arab gelding, 14.3 hh. He has a lovely quiet and gentle nature and is very quiet and willing to please when under saddle and I think he’d be a great fit at RDA. 

 

The horse doesn’t actually belong to me at the moment, however the lady who has owned him for years can no longer keep him and is giving him away, and as she has said he must be gone by the end of July I will be taking him to re-home. She’s had him on full board at an equestrian centre at Berry, NSW for the past 3 years. I know the owner of the equestrian centre and have been speaking with her regarding the horse and she said he’s good in the paddock with other horses and easy to have around. He has previously foundered once in his life before, however he’s not had any issues in the last 3 years as his weight is managed by keeping him in paddocks with shorter grass and not feeding high energy, sugary feeds such as grains. 

 

I am happy to transport him for free to wherever he needs to go if any of your NSW centres are looking for a new addition.
