Hi ,

JobKeeper criteria relaxed for NFPs, charities and businesses when demonstrating downturn in income.

The Federal Government has relaxed the criteria that charities, not-for-profit organisations and businesses are required to meet when applying to receive the JobKeeper payment.

The new relaxed criteria requires applicants to estimate that their turnover has or is likely to fall as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak to be eligible to receive the payment.

The JobKeeper payment is part of a suite of measures by the Federal Government to assist businesses and not-for-profits to retain employees. It is valued at $1,500 per employee per fortnight and for up to six months. Non-government schools and private vocational education providers are also eligible for the payment.
