[Centres] RDA(NSW) COVIDSafe and Ready Plan

Hi all, 

 

Thank you to all our Centres that have been busy behind the scenes to get
ready to operate in a COVIDSafe way. 

We understand that there is a lot of work involved in maintaining Centres
that are not operational as well as preparing for recommencing operations.
It is heartening to know that so many of you are working hard to make sure
that our RDA Community members stay safe and well. 

 

Please find attached the latest version of the COVIDSafe and Ready Plan
which enables Centres to operate at Recovery Level 2 Step 2 providing all
the necessary steps in the checklist have been taken and the local area risk
profile is low. 

An important part of the checklist is  the essential requirement to send an
email to the Board, CASP and State Office to ensure we are aware of your
intention to commence. 

 

With the current situation changing in NSW we have also introduced Hotspot
Restrictions so please make sure that if any Volunteers or Participants have
attended the latest identified community transmission sites that they are
excluded from participating in Centre activities until the 14day isolation
period is completed. We know that the last thing that anyone wants is for
the organisation to be at the Centre of a local outbreak. 

 

There is another COVIDSafe and Ready Session this coming Saturday which is
important for those of you that are yet to participate and intend to
commence operations. Advance registration is required at the following link:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing
information about joining the meeting. Please make sure that you register at
least 1 hour before the commencement of the session. 

 

Please remember the key to being COVIDSafe is to increase personal hygiene,
increase surface cleaning, social distance and stay home and get tested if
you are unwell.
