[Centres] Online Mental Health Training

Hi all, 

RDA(NSW) has secured Free online Mental Health training through Safework NSW
which has partnered with the Black Dog Institute. 

 

The free online training will be made available for Volunteers that would
like to participate. 

There are two options: 

1)      Manager Training option - provided to Coaches, Regional Reps,
Committee Members and Board/CASP Members

2)      Staff Training option - provided to Volunteers

 

To nominate participants in these options: 

-          Complete the attached spreadsheet with name, email address and
indicate if they are completing the Manager or Staff option

-          Send 1 spreadsheet per Centre to training at rdansw.org.au
<mailto:training at rdansw.org.au>  by Monday 10th August.

 

Team Wellbeing Ambassadors

We are also searching for 1 Team Wellbeing Ambassador for each Centre that
is interested in participating in further training via an Online Zoom
session and are willing and able to be a point of contact in the
organisation for other people and future initiatives. 

This training will be held at the end of September beginning of October.

This person does not need to be a Coach but someone that is interested and
able to support others and be a point of contact. 

To nominate this person for the Centre - please email their Name, Email
address, phone number and nominate best availability for online training
(either Weekday/Evening/Saturday) to training at rdansw.org.au
<mailto:training at rdansw.org.au>  by Monday 10th August with the email titled
- Team Wellbeing Ambassador - Centre Name 

We are unsure if we can secure training in the evenings or weekends but we
will try. Everyone will be given 2 weeks notice regarding this training.
