[Centres] Advice re Board 2020

Hello Everyone,

After much deliberation and discussion I am doing a Dame Nellie Melba and staying on the Board for at least another year. I felt with all the difficulties and stresses facing our Centres and Members it was an inappropriate time to leave.

Many thanks to all who sent me such lovely messages on my retirement, they really lifted my spirits. Whilst I totally agree that we need new blood on the Board, I’m sure you’ll also agree it is a time where it would be unfair to expect people without experience at Board level to embark on a new management journey.

I’m looking forward to an exciting new RDA(NSW) year albeit it filled with extra challenges. I can assure you that I will endeavour, along with other Directors, to assist the Association through this difficult time with enthusiasm and as much energy as is possible.
