Greetings , the March edition of EasyGrants newsletter is attached, with up-to-date grants tailored for you.

We've probably all either said or heard this many times over the last two weeks, but it’s safe to say that 2020 has not turned out as planned. Community groups and not-for-profits, businesses and individuals are all suffering right now. The team at Our Community (the Funding Centre’s parent company) are doing everything they can to help you stay afloat. Keep reading below to find out how.


COVID-19 financial assistance


To start with, there’s this page on the Funding Centre <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/covid19-financial-assistance/> , which lists the latest financial assistance being made available to groups that have been impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. It’s being updated daily by our grants team, so please ensure you check it regularly. Save Our Sector (SOS)


Our Community has launched the Save Our Sector (SOS) campaign <https://communitydirectors.com.au/save-our-sector>  to support the social sector, which has been so heavily impacted by the COVID-19 crisis, and help it remain afloat. Support those impacted by COVID-19


For those of you who aren’t doing it as tough and want to support others who are, GiveNow have released a list of causes relating to COVID-19. Visit the page here. <https://help.givenow.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/360001423175>  

The entire Our Community office is now working from home. For the most part, it has been a smooth transition for us. We’re lucky; the flexibility awarded to us as employees means that many of us have experience working from home and are set up to do so. However, it has been an adjustment. For that reason, this email does not contain any highlighted grants or news and updates relating to the sector. We want to focus on getting grants information to you as quickly as possible. 

Once again, we urge Funding Centre users to regularly check on the COVID-19 financial assistance page, as well as to regularly check the online grants database. Information is constantly being updated. Some funders have had to make the difficult decision to suspend or postpone grant rounds. For this reason, it’s best to keep an eye on the live grants database <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/grant/search?searchPhrase=>  to stay up to date.
