Hi ,

On March 30, the Federal Government announced a $130 billion wage subsidy <https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-03-30/coronavirus-government-to-announce-wage-subsidy/12101648>  that will enable employers to continue to pay their employees. 

According to the announcement, the "Jobkeeper" payment is valued at $1500 per fortnight. The flat rate will be paid automatically via the Australian Taxation Office from May, with payments backdated from 1 March. Not-for-profit organisations that have experienced a 30% or more downturn in revenue are eligible for the subsidy.
