[Centres] Nominations for the position of Director of RDA (NSW) for the period 2022 to 2024

Attached please find:

 

1.	Notice of the 2022 Annual General Meeting of RDA (NSW);

 

2.	Four valid Nominations received for the position of Director of RDA
(NSW) for the period 2022 to 2024;

 

3.	Ballot paper for the election of Directors of RDA (NSW) for the
period 2022 to 2024;

 

4.	Notification of Delegate Form for the 2022 RDA (NSW) AGM;

 

5.	Letter to Centres re the ballot papers and proxy forms.

 

It is noted that there have been four valid nominations received to fill
four vacant positions.  In a situation such as this, the RDA (NSW)
Constitution provides:

 

"28. ELECTION OF ELECTED DIRECTORS

(c)         If, on the closing of nominations, the Secretary has only
received nominations equal to the number of vacancies to be filled then the
Secretary shall declare those persons automatically elected at the Annual
General Meeting." 

 

Accordingly, while Centres which are eligible to vote may submit their votes
using the attached "AGM - Election Ballot paper 2022", the four nominees
will be declared, at the 2022 RDA (NSW) AGM, as having been automatically
elected to the Board of RDA (NSW).

 

The nominations submitted are being forwarded to introduce the four nominees
who will be declared, at the 2022 AGM of RDA (NSW), as the successful
nominees to the Board.
