[Centres] 2022 RDA(NSW) Dressage Championships - Workshop and Volunteering

Hi all, 

The 2022 RDA(NSW) Dressage Championships are creeping up quickly with a date
of 26-28th August.

The event will be held at Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC) at
Horsley  Park. 

 

The Dressage Committee have been busy behind the scenes with preparations
and have FOUR opportunities for Centres to get involved.

 

Opportunity 1: 

-          Enter a Rider in the Gymkhana or Dressage events! 
It is a great event and a welcoming environment. The Dressage Committee are
here to support you in the lead up to the event and throughout the event.

There is support for Participants in the Rider Participation Fund - See the
RAM for details. 

 

Opportunity 2: 

-          Volunteer as part of the crew behind the scenes and help make
this a great event. There are lots of roles available, you don't need to
know anything about Dressage just the willingness to get involved and we
will help with the rest. 
The roles include: Arena Stewards, Pencillers, Catering, First Aid, Stable
Management and lots of behind the scenes in the moment tasks.

Opportunity 3: 

-          The Dressage Committee are holding a Dressage Workshop alongside
the event so this is a great opportunity to come and find out all about
Dressage and how you can get involved in the future. The workshop is free
and includes interactive opportunities to get involved in the event. It is
unmounted and open to Riders, Coaches and Volunteers.

Opportunity 4: 

-          We are looking for Event Sponsors and Prize Givers and Promoters
to be part of the event. If you know of a business or organisation that may
be interested in supporting the event then we would love to hear from them.
We have plenty of options that we can discuss with the business directly so

The event is a huge event, all Dressage events are located in the Main
Indoor Arena. Our Riders love that they get to ride at the Paralympic Venue
and we look forward to continuing the event for many years to come.
