Good fuel fund

Up to $25,000
Closes Monday October 21, 2022

Sunbites is donating $200,000 in total to nominated eligible charities that promote, provide or carry out activities, facilities or projects for the benefit or welfare of the community. Each month Sunbites will select a nominated individual who works or volunteers with an eligible charity to receive a $25,000 grant. 

Grants for rural and regional communities' wellbeing

Up to $5,000
Closes Friday August 12, 2022

Grants up to $5,000 are available to not-for-profit or incorporated organisations in rural and regional Australia to deliver projects to benefit their local community, contribute to its strength and create long-term positive outcomes. Examples of eligible projects include skills development, supporting volunteer wellbeing, and enhancing places where communities gather.  

Grants for digital inclusion and innovation

Up to $40,000
Closes Friday September 9, 2022 

The auDA Foundation promotes and encourages education and research initiatives that enhance the utility of the Internet for the benefit of the Australian community. Its 2022 round focuses on two major themes: digital inclusion and digital innovation. The Foundation will preference groups from rural, regional, and remote Australia, the disability sector, First Nations people, older Australians, and small business.  

Grants for flood recovery

Storm and flood disaster recovery grant

Up to $50,000
Closes Saturday June 30, 2022 

Small businesses and not-for-profit organisations in NSW that have been directly affected by storms and floods in June and July 2022 may be eligible for a storm and flood disaster recovery small business grant. Grants will help pay for the costs of clean-up and reinstatement, including payment for tradespeople, equipment and materials, cleaning, removal of debris, repair work, and leasing of temporary premises.  

Anchor business support program

$44.3 million available
Closes Tuesday July 26, 2022

The Anchor Business Support Program provides provide financial assistance to anchor businesses in the Northern Rivers to support the costs of re-establishment of their businesses and continuation of employment within the region. Grants will support return to ‘normal’ operations, and activities which support business resilience and employment. 

Support from your bank

The Australia Banking Association is encouraging flood-affected customers to get in touch with their bank to find out about support that may be available. *         Bendigo Bank’s  <https://email.ourcommunity.com.au/t/r-l-tykytikk-bjdhduksj-u/> Natural disaster assistance package includes relief on loans, discounted interest rates, waived rental merchant feeds, and more 

*         CommBank has activated  <https://email.ourcommunity.com.au/t/r-l-tykytikk-bjdhduksj-o/> Emergency Assistance for affected customers 

*         Westpac is offering $3,000 to affected customers through its  <https://email.ourcommunity.com.au/t/r-l-tykytikk-bjdhduksj-b/> Disaster Relief Package 

*          <https://email.ourcommunity.com.au/t/r-l-tykytikk-bjdhduksj-n/> NAB has announced it will provide $1,000 grants to customers

Your EasyGrants newsletter is tailored to suit your preferences. If your EasyGrants newsletter has too many grants that aren’t relevant to you, or that you aren’t eligible to apply for, you might need to update your preferences on the Funding Centre settings page.  

These settings will also adjust your grant email alerts. If you want to search outside of these parameters, you can do by conducting a live search on the Funding Centre website.

Digital technology in the not-for-profit sector - have your say

Infoxchange is running its annual Digital Technology in the Not-for-Profit sector survey to learn how social sector organisations are using technology.
