[Centres] FW: Reminder: Child Safe Engagement Forum and Sport Integrity Australia presentation on the National Integrity Framework

Centre Secretaries,

RDA (NSW), along with other State Sporting Organisations, has received the
invitation for its members to take part in the Office of Sport's Child Safe
Engagement Forum.  This will be held via teleconference on 7 June and is at
no cost to the participants.

It is necessary to register for this presentation and registration details
are contained in the initial email from the Office of Sport in the "history"
below.

It may be useful for your Centre if at least one member from your Centre is
able to register and attend the session.

Registration is said to close on 3 June.

Child Safe Engagement Forum

The Office of Sport's Child Safe Engagement Forum will provide an overview
of the new Child Safe Scheme legislation that requires sport and recreation
organisations to embed the 10 Child Safe Standards.

The Forum will assist the Office of Sport to develop a comprehensive Child
Safe Action Plan that truly represents the sector.

An overview of the strategies proposed for the Action Plan will be
delivered, along with a feedback opportunity as to how we can build and
support a safeguarding culture across the NSW sport and active recreation
sector.

Sport Integrity Australia will also present on the new National Integrity
Framework and explore what this might mean for NSW State Sporting
Organisations (SSO).

Child Safe Scheme that will inform resource development and training needs.
