Hello 

Do you have a project that will benefit the young people in your community? Do you need funding to help this happen?

Variety’s We Join Community Grants are open until 4 July 2022.

We are actively seeking applications to our grant scheme from voluntary and community groups and not for profit organisations looking to set up new projects or enhance their current activities or facilities.

The grant aims to support smaller scale groups to deliver projects that make a difference to the quality of life for children living in their community. 

Think art supplies, sensory equipment or musical instruments; sports or camping equipment; a beach wheelchair, a veggie garden, inclusive play equipment; library books or perhaps funding for a school camp or group outing. 

In 2016, Variety granted Cooks Hill Surf Lifesaving Club two floating wheelchairs to give kids living with a disability the chance to swim in the surf safely. Some six years later, the floating wheelchairs are still used regularly and have seen people of all shapes, sizes and abilities enjoy a day at the beach.

Grants up to $10,000 can be used to purchase equipment or supplies that support kids to join in with their communities, no matter their circumstances.

The Variety We Join Grant is open until Monday 4 July 2022 at 5pm.

Our grants are highly sought after that is why we're reaching out to you early so you can read the guidelines and get your application ready in plenty of time.

You may also be interested in the Variety We Move Grant which is also available to fill the gaps in funding for kids living with a disability to purchase life-changing mobility equipment. These applications are open all year round.
