Donations down this EOFY? Ask again
If donations are down for your organisation this financial year, you’re not alone. That’s according to the latest data from Our Community donations platform GiveNow.
The executive director of GiveNow, Cathy Truong, encourages organisations to make one final request for an EOFY donation despite the slump.
<http://i5.cmail20.com/ei/r/4A/407/B0F/150034/csfinal/Donate_iStock-6379458601-3b582938f36ab0cc.jpg>
“Many groups are feeling the pinch, which means now is a good opportunity to remind supporters how much their donation means to your organisation and how it can help your group to achieve its mission,” said Ms Truong.
GiveNow facilitates secure, commission-free donations (once-off and regular) for thousands of community causes. You can <https://email.ourcommunity.com.au/t/r-l-tydhpiy-bjdhduksj-u/> sign up for free on the GiveNow website.

What’s in the Queensland and NSW state budgets for your organisation?
<http://i8.cmail20.com/ei/r/4A/407/B0F/150034/csfinal/BUDGET2-ec919bfefa71be6c.png>
The Queensland and NSW 2022–23 state budgets were handed down this week. It's still unclear when or how this money will trickle down to not-for-profits and community groups, but we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for grant updates relevant to Funding Centre members.
Funding Centre subscribers can read key budget highlights on the <https://email.ourcommunity.com.au/t/r-l-tydhpiy-bjdhduksj-z/> Funding Centre News page or <https://email.ourcommunity.com.au/t/r-l-tydhpiy-bjdhduksj-v/> sign up for alerts to be the first to know where the money is flowing.
That's all from us. Happy fundraising!
