Dear Lucy

Sport NSW continues to seek out opportunities for our members to access
additional facilities.

We recently met with School Infrastructure NSW to discuss how sports can
gain better access to school facilities.  We have organised with them to
hold a webinar to discuss opportunities for activating shared spaces on
public school sites.

The webinar will cover shared use arrangements, including:

*	Licence and hire agreements: Provides access to indoor and outdoor
spaces and facilities to community organisations under a formal short-term
hire agreement or long-term license. 
*	Share our Space: A program that provides communities with access to
outdoor spaces and facilities at participating schools during school
holidays. The department partners with various organisations to offer free
holiday programs at these sites. Activity partners benefit from:

*	Free access to quality facilities to run their programs
*	Opportunities to reach diverse communities
*	Promotion through the department's networks

*	Joint Use: Opportunities to contribute to delivering new or upgraded
infrastructure on a school site, with a long-term license agreement in
place.

*	Tuesday 13 August 2024 from 6pm-7pm
*	Wednesday 14 August 2024 from 10am-11am
