Landcare Australia’s Community Grants program aims to support and celebrate groups that care for the environment across Australia. Grants are for up to $20,000 and funded costs include educational and community workshops, restoring habitat, shelter belts and fences, working with Traditional Owners and First Nations organisations, and other Landcare activities. Applications close September 20.

CVGT Employment is funding a youth-focused community grants program to support organisations that benefit the communities in which CVGT operates across Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. Not-for-profit organisations that support youth education, training, employment, health, housing, and legal aid are eligible to apply for up to $5,000. Applications close September 20.

Ansvar’s Community Education Program provides grants of up to $50,000 to organisations supporting Australian youth through programs. Not-for-profit organisations with DGR status are eligible to apply. Applications close September 20.

The DWF Foundation is providing $10,000 grants to not-for-profits in the areas of education, employment, homelessness, health, wellbeing, environment and sustainability. Australian applicants must contact the Foundation before applying – see the Funding Centre for more information. Applications close October 31.

Little Phil Foundation is on a mission to empower not-for-profits by providing grants for technology solutions. Grants will typically cover an average of 30% of the cost of the technology or solution, and up to 50% in some cases. Applications are open on an ongoing basis.

Funding Centre tip: notifications of discontinued grants 

We’re continuously improving the Funding Centre’s tools and features to help make grantseeking simpler and more efficient for our subscribers. The latest improvement aims to help you track the latest round of your favourite grant programs. 

The new notification alerts you to the latest round of any grant you have added to your dashboard. Old rounds will appear in your grants list highlighted in red. To find the latest round, click on the grant name or the dropdown “Options” button. From there, you can archive the old round and save the latest round to your dashboard to help you track and manage applications. You can also migrate existing application information to the new round.

>From the Manage Grant page, you can archive the old round and add the latest round to your dashboard to track.

You can transfer your application details to the new round and archive the old round from your list of grants.

Not-for-Profit Finance Week is a celebration of ideas, knowledge and financial capacity-building for the $100 billion Australian not-for-profit sector, hosted by the Institute of Community Directors Australia (ICDA). 

Through NFP Finance Week, ICDA aims to increase the profile of the not-for-profit sector, bolster the financial capacity and sustainability of the sector, and provide support for the staff, board members and treasurers carrying out the important task of overseeing the finances.
