01:45:24	Eric Lengling:	As a former director - within the confines of the confidentiality agreement we all sign, I can state that:
Many years ago when the shares were first purchased, RDA NSW had a paid xternal  financial advisor. A decision was made to have a number of directors managing the share portfolio (self manage).  Member centres were in agreement.
Those directors are no longer with the organisation.
I believe it is time to investigate an alternative to directors managing the portfolio.

Other than some reporting issues in relation to expenses there is not much to discuss. A detailed P&L as supplied covers most of the disclosure problems. The financial statements as presented are acceptable.

Thanks for your time on the phone today.
 
I can now confirm, the owners of Obamburumai have chosen Riding for the Disabled Ballina as their chosen charity for the Golden Eagle race.
 
Any funds won will be passed on to Riding for the Disabled, Ballina to fund the new riding arena. We have advised the group that the arena at the Ballina Centre has limited use due to only half of it being roofed. The half without a roof regularly floods, which makes the entire arena unusable in wet conditions. This grant is costed at $150K.
 
If Obamburumai wins the Golden Eagle (fingers crossed), we just ask that you share the surplus of funds with other RDA areas across NSW.
