Greg,

I have vastly more, and more senior, experience as a business and government
executive than you or your cronies.

At 28 or 29 years of formal education I just may have a bit more than you
and all of your cronies.

We won't get into probable IQs as I don't want to unnecessarily embarrass
you and your cronies.

I therefore say that I prefer our current Board and Constitution, with all
its failures and shortcomings, to a couple of outsiders who know and care
little about RDA, riders, horses, the disabled, volunteers, and a few
'insiders' who have been found seriously lacking in the qualities RDA has
been built on.

We have to assume that you outsiders only see the RDA as a 'money tree' you
can pillage and a place to have ego power.

The current Board and Constitution have been built and function with love,
kindness, cooperation and understanding, all directed at the delivery of our
equine therapies to the disabled and others.

Why would we want to change that? For some fast talking outsiders and
disgruntled insiders?

No, I don't think so.

James Van-Lane

RDA(NSW) Director

Subject: Official Update

Hi all

In yet another example of poor governance, you will have received an email
after my email last night, stating some very incorrect details. Another
example of the Board making decisions on the fly without due process being
followed.

There are no clauses in the Constitution dated May 2018 that cover the
removal of the Chairperson.

I draw your attention to the old constitution that the Board is clinging to

Clause 15.1 (a) says in part

"The Members in a General Meeting may ..... (i) Dismiss the Chairman in
accordance with this Constitution and the Act"

(There was no general meeting, and it is up to the Members)

Clause 30.5 also states that the Chair's term runs from AGM to AGM unless
there is a casual vacancy.

If this is the type of Board members want leading this organisation, please
feel free to write to me directly with your thoughts.

Our Constitution is the set of rules that govern the organisation and the
clauses within that must be adhered to. I was specifically asked by members
of the Caretaker Board to nominate for the position of Chairperson with an
expectation that I would be able to fix the issues in the organisation. That
in itself is an acknowledgement of deep-seated problems.

Those problems have now been rectified and again, I ask you to be patient as
we move forward with a positive energy.

Greg
