Please see email from Director James Van-Lane who is an appointed director.

Bruce,

Who has breached their RDA (NSW) Confidentiality Agreement by giving you all
of the internal email addresses you used in your email of October 7th?

Do you believe it is appropriate that you, without any communication with,
let alone authorisation from, our Board, should be galloping through the
organisation as you are?

Unlike most organisations RDA (NSW) was very wise in many parts of the
current Constitution. For instance, only the Executive Officer has the power
to 'make things happen', or a majority of the Board in quorum. I can only do
those things I am authorised by the Board to do. Even the Chairperson has no
power of their own - it all comes from the Board.

The Board and the Association did appreciate your pro bono help at the AGM
and following SGM, doing what our own elected Chairperson should have been
doing, but you are now stretching that goodwill and only negative reactions
will come from it.

RDA has been running for, I believe, over 50 years. Yes, there have been
disagreements and unhappiness, as you'd expect in any family of 30+ Centres,
but for the most part, it has been a experience in good will, trust, and
cooperation leading to good works.

It really is all about the riders. Not about 'new shoes in the house' like
you, me and our Chairperson.

Please cease and desist. As I see it, the Board is doing its job, possibly
not as quickly as some would like, but progress is being made.

James

---------- Original Message ----------

I believe Bruce was answered as per highlighted statement. - James when you
get the chance do you wish to reply more formally?

The email from the BM states that the next action regarding the
Constitution will be in November.

Bruce, I don't believe you are functioning with any real RDA (NSW)
authority so please do not assume too much. I'm not sure what other Board
members might say.

 James

Subject: RDA NSW Constitutional Review Workshop & Information Session

Dear RDA Members

We are writing to you to invite you to the Constitutional Review Workshop
that we indicated we would hold for interested members.

The Workshop is not a formal General Meeting of RDA NSW. It is just an
informal meeting to discuss what can be done about fixing the RDA NSW
Constitution. The Working Party will use the feedback from the Workshop as
input to the Special General Meetings that have been called to repair the
Constitution.

We are holding the Workshop session on Zoom at 5pm on Saturday, 12 October
2024. The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in understanding and
discussing what can be done to fix the Constitution.

The link for the session is:

https://us06web.zoom.us/j/87116881498?pwd=rmAIO8BbI5Kg5j1xdKwQubJzAAqOst.1

Feel free to forward this email to anyone you think might be interested in
supporting the objectives of RDA NSW.

The original date of the Workshop was delayed so that we could offer an
opportunity for the RDA NSW Board to collaborate in the process.

We have invited the Board, as per the email attached, to jointly convene a
meeting to work together and share ideas regarding Constitutional review. At
the time of writing this email, the Board has still not responded to our
invitation which was sent on 1 Oct, 2024.

The Directors are most welcome to attend the Workshop next Saturday to
participate in the discussion.

The Agenda will be as follows:

1. The role of RDA NSW in relation to supporting the RDA Centres.

2. The Structure and Roles within RDA NSW - sub-committees, etc.

3. Summary of problems with the current RDA NSW Constitution

4. The proposed changes to the RDA NSW Constitution

5. The next steps for fixing the Constitution

We will be recording the Workshop. So, if you can't make it, you and other
members of your Centre will still be able to get the information about what
happened.

Yours sincerely

Bruce Manefield

For, and on behalf of, the Working Party
