Dear Community Groups,

 

We're pleased to advise you of a new opportunity for community funding
targeted at youth projects.

 

Youth NSW - Youth Opportunities Program

The Youth Opportunities program provides one-off, time-limited grants
between $10,000 and $50,000 to not-for-profit organisations and local
councils for youth-led and youth-driven community projects that have a
positive youth development focus.

Funded projects from previous rounds have focused on giving young people the
opportunity to develop a range of skills, including life skills and healthy
behaviours; leadership, communication and teamwork; event management and
planning; and providing volunteering opportunities that link young people to
further education and training.

Since the program was launched in 2012, Youth Opportunities has provided
$10.4 million in funding to 211 projects across NSW.

A reminder as well that the Dooleys Community Funding opportunity is still
open until Monday June 17th. See details below.

 

DOOLEYS Community Funding

DOOLEYS next quarterly funding round is now open.  This is open to all
proposals for sponsorships, donations and requests for ClubGRANTS Category 2
funding.

This funding round will close on Monday 17 June and applications will then
be reviewed at the Tuesday 23 July meeting.

Each application will be assessed against DOOLEYS Community Engagement
priorities as follows:

.         Social Inclusion and Cohesion

.         Community Health and Active Lifestyles

.         Education and Employment

.         Supporting Families

.         Community Safety

.         Aged Care and Disability Support

.         Youth Development and Engagement

*	Environmental Sustainability

ensure you complete the application form and return to Tamara Lewis
