[Centres] Reimbursement of expenses by Centre Volunteers

Centre Treasurers

 

Hello everyone.

 

Following enquiries received from some Centres about reimbursements of costs
incurred by volunteers for and on behalf of Centres and the appropriate
record-keeping, the attached modified versions of the present RAM document
NSW-18 were produced.

 

Where a Centre uses a system of petty cash, the second version may be more
appropriate.

 

Could you please have a look at each version and let me know if you would
find something like this useful for you on behalf of your Centre.  Also, if
you think that there could be changes made to it so that it would be more
useful or easier to use, again, please let me know.

 

In my role as Finance Officer and former Treasurer of a Centre, as well as
Treasurer and finance-related activities in non-RDA (NSW) roles, the
importance of complete records and audit trails relating to all financial
matters are extremely very important.  Having something which is
standardised may make it easier to keep track of financial transaction and
related records.
