Greetings , the first edition of EasyGrants newsletter for 2020 is attached, with up-to-date grants tailored for you.

In this edition, we've got a focus on bushfire relief. We highlight financial and other kinds of help that's available, and how to support bushfire victims. Also, we reveal how you can claim a scholarship from the Institute of Community Directors Australia (ICDA) to study its acclaimed governance diploma. Finally, in fundraising, you'll be pleased to see some of the results from December's Giving Tuesday campaign, the antidote to the pre-Christmas spending splurge, which triggered a spike in donations.

Governance scholarships up for grabs  <https://communitydirectors.com.au/training/diploma-scholarships> 


The Institute of Community Directors Australia  <https://communitydirectors.com.au/> (ICDA) is offering more scholarships for more students to study its acclaimed Diploma of Governance. It's the only governance qualification targeting not-for-profits. This year's $1000 part-scholarships cater for 11 sub-sectors, including LGBTIQ+, women and indigenous categories. The scholarships are all available now, with applications processed in just 10 days.

Campaign sparks rise in new donations <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/help/givingtuesday-impact?utm_campaign=ongoing&utm_medium=email&utm_source=fundingcentre.com.au> 


A study of the recent Giving Tuesday campaign (December 3) has shown that a striking number of participating organisations recorded a spike in giving from new supporters, alongside a string of insights into what drove support for the one-day giving blitz. Giving Tuesday's Australia arm, GiveNow, will use the results of the study to fine-tune this year's campaign on December 1.
