Subject: Welcome to EasyGrants Newsletter - June 2020
<https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/>
Greetings , the June 2020 edition of EasyGrants newsletter is attached, with up-to-date grants tailored for you.
Our colleagues at SmartyGrants wrote in the latest edition of SmartyNews that the weeks feel like they're going both fast and slow at the same time, and we couldn't agree more. Whether you're in one of the states or territories that have kept COVID-19 cases down, or you're like us in Victoria and you're witnessing another spike, the situation is by no means back to normal for anyone. Some organisations may be getting back on their feet, while many others are still struggling.
We've always seen our role to keep you informed about the funding opportunities available as important, but more so now than ever. Below are some ways to use the Funding Centre. We hope they help make finding funding easier for you.
1. COVID-19 Financial Assistance page <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/covid19-financial-assistance> - Continue checking the page on the Funding Centre for updates. Our grants team regularly update the page, and there are more funding opportunities to be found once you log in.
2. Narrow down your search results <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/grant/search.do?searchPhrase=&providerId=&categoryIds=39&categoryIds=40> - Use COVID-19 and Bushfire relief categories. We mentioned in last month's edition that we'd added two new interest categories. If you missed it, try it out for yourself. Search for grants here. <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/grant/search.do?searchPhrase=&providerId=&categoryIds=39&categoryIds=40>
3. Cast your net wide <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/help/casting-grants-net-wide> - Did you know we have 40 interest categories you can select to refine your search results? The interests you have selected determine which grants you hear about in the EasyGrants newsletter. Login here <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/settings> to check that you're receiving information about all the interest categories relevant to you.
4. Set your alerts to weekly or daily <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/account/alerts> - You can adjust your alert settings here. <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/account/alerts>
5. Funding Centre Calendar <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/dashboard/calendar?nav=cal> - Use the Calendar to track upcoming rounds. You can even add grants that aren't listed in the Funding Centre grants database (including invitation only funding). If you need a refresher about some of the features of the Dashboard, visit our product overview page here. <https://www.fundingcentre.com.au/overview>
6. Save Our Sector (SOS) resources <https://communitydirectors.com.au/save-our-sector> - Visit the Institute of Community Directors Australia (ICDA) website. It contains a host of news, resources, links and advice about how to sustain your organisation, including results from Our Community's latest survey on the impact of COVID-19 on the community sector. Check out the results here. <https://communitydirectors.com.au/research/covid19-community-sector-impact-survey>
7. Educate yourself <https://communitydirectors.com.au/save-our-sector> - Online training and webinars have increased in number over the last few months, opening up opportunities for people across the country. Check out the free webinars available through ICDA here <https://communitydirectors.com.au/save-our-sector> (scroll down the page).
Speaking of webinars, if you missed our <https://communitydirectors.com.au/training-courses/webinar-sos-fundraising1> How to win grants for your not-for-profit during the pandemic webinar, it's not too late! Watch it here. <https://communitydirectors.com.au/training-courses/webinar-sos-fundraising1> If you don't have time, we've highlighted some key takeaways about the current funding climate for grantseekers in this article on the Funding Centre. <https://communitydirectors.com.au/help-sheets/how-to-win-grants-for-your-not-for-profit-during-the-pandemic>
We hope you’re keeping safe and well.
