Hi All,

After much soul searching and endless self debate I decided not to stand for re-election to the Board of Directors. This has been an incredibly difficult decision to reach as I have a sincere passion for RDA(NSW) and all it stands for.

This decision has absolutely nothing to do with my health or my desire not to continue in my role. The change in philosophies and the manner in which we are now required to conduct our business is becoming increasingly difficult for me to endorse. 

I do believe that we as a Board should be listening to our various committees and members. Whilst I appreciate the business aspects of our Association are more challenging, I don’t believe that we should put our financial interests before the benefit of our members.
RDA(NSW) from the outset was developed as an inclusive organisation and I strongly feel we are moving away from that model.

I would like to thank all the wonderful women, men, children and horses that I have had the privilege of working with over the past decades. You have all helped me to develop as a person and an athlete. Those of you whom I have at times upset, I can’t apologise because at the time it was justified, but I hope you can think back on our encounters without malice . I know the many friends I have made, who have entered my life , will forever remain In my memory .

Should the need arise I will always be available for consultation/support. I wish you all well into the future.
