Forwarding the email below “Nominate your volunteers today” for the Volunteer of the Year Awards from The Centre for Volunteering 

The Awards celebrate the efforts of our state’s volunteers across seven different award categories.  Special guests, families and friends will attend ceremonies at 26 locations across regional and suburban centres to celebrate the regional winners of the volunteer awards.

Finalists are invited to the Gala State Ceremony in Sydney to announce the final winners and overall NSW Volunteer of the Year.

Communities across the state have relied so much on their volunteers over the past 12 months – perhaps more so than ever.

The true value of volunteering has been on display across all facets of our lives.

And so we should take the time to recognise that effort.
The NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards are one of the largest celebrations across the country.

The awards will continue in 2020 bigger than ever – either in virtual or face to face form.
