To whom it may concern,

I would like to donate my horse to a Centre of Riding for the Disabled association (NSW)

My horse is a branded and registered thoroughbred mare, she will be 19 this year, 15hh, mahogany bay, maiden, hooves, teeth and worming up to date.

HISTORY: off the track at 6 years old for being too slow moved onto team penning and mustering around age 7 she then had a floating accident leaving her with  damage to near hind quaters resulting in only light riding occasionally as she can stumble in the front end with too much weight on the rump. This is why she is suited for children, lead line, very light riding on flat level grounds. She has a very gentle soul, very loving personality, gets on well with other horses but will stay back in the heard and does not have a dominant nature, no vices i.e., kick, bite, bolt, rare, pigroot, shy except WILL NOT FLOAT, Must be trucked.

Bare foot good hard feet, good doer no need for hand feeding- she does get fat and resembles a quarter horse, respects all fences including electric, comes when called- her name is gemma.

She is great with children, dogs, trucks, cats, chooks, farm machinery and loud noises.

Does not co-operate with men as a result of the floating accident and has only been kept by woman since, she is ok with male children but not adult males.

My circumstances are that i have sold my property, i have put her out to adjistment and the adgistment property is about to go up for sale and i have been asked to move her on. I have had no luck finding anywhere to keep her, i have had no real interest in selling her due to her age and i desperately want her kept somewhere for life where is can be lightly utilised and cared for therefore i am desperate to donate her to an equine facility that can give her the best quality life for the remainder of her life, she is still so healthy and fit that, that could be 10+ years.

She would be well worth foaling!
