[Centres] RDA NSW Regional Mounted Games Days

Hi everyone

I hope you are all staying well and safe in this increasingly challenging
and, no doubt, frustrating time!!! For some of you it will mean renewed
closures and uncertainties. Hopefully this will be a limited blot on the
landscape and that you will be able to get up and running again soon.  For
others it is business as usual, which is why I thought I would just confirm
the RDA NSW Mounted Games Day at SIEC on Friday 8th October in conjunction
with the traditional Gymkhana and Dressage Championship weekend. We are
working closely with the Dressage Committee and entry and information forms
will be sent out through them.

 

As for the Regional Mounted Games Days!! We hope you are enjoying getting
back into the practising the games which will be as previous - ie Crazy
Eight, Snakes and Ladders, Twist and Turn, and Bending. These can all be
found in the RAM under COA-08 Sept 2017, along with the RDA NSW Mounted
Games guidelines for running the day for those of you who may be unfamiliar
with this event. A sample Score (Time) sheet is also included.

 

At this moment we still do not know what will be happening re the Mounted
Games at the Royal Easter Show in 2022 but we are keeping our fingers
crossed for an invitation to attend. Therefore, times for your top 4 riders
in each riding level will need to be returned to the Committee by Friday
29th October so they may be considered for inclusion should the RES go
ahead. We would also ask that ' Riders Ability to Attend ' be provided as
well. We understand that this may alter dependent on more solid dates should
inclusion at the RES occur.

 

We will keep you up to date with any further information regarding the SIEC
Mounted Games Day, as well as for the future of the RDA NSW Mounted Games
day at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
