Centre Secretaries.
Thank you to those of you who have responded to the email below.
Unfortunately, the majority of Centres are yet to reply.
As previously noted, we need to compile the replies and provide the answers
from Centres, plus other information which is provided by State Office, to
the insurers. The insurers need the information for them to assess risk for
insurance purposes and then submit policies to RDA (NSW) in time so that
insurances can be in place for the start of the year. Therefore, can all
Centres which have not yet submitted their replies please do so in the next
few days. It only takes a few minutes to complete the questionnaire, but
the information is very important.
It is realised that the last two years have made it difficult to determine
the exact numbers for the 2022 year. Therefore, while the insurer needs the
information to assess risk, it is sufficient that, if the exact numbers are
not known, a reasonable estimation is made. That would be sufficient for
their purposes as they would be aware that numbers can, and do, vary and
will factor that into their calculations.
Your early attention to this would be greatly appreciated.

Subject: Information requested by insurer
Centre Secretaries,
RDA (NSW) is in the process of renewing insurances for the 2020 calendar
year. For this purpose, we are required to supply information that is
requested by the insurer. This allows the insurer to assess risk and, as a
result, calculate the premium payable.
Could you please complete the information requested in the attached document
and return it to State Office as soon as possible, but no later than 19
November so that the data can be amalgamated with other information that RDA
(NSW) needs to supply and submitted to the insurer.
If there is insufficient space to provide your answers, please put any
additional information in the covering email when you return the completed
document.
Please let State Office, with a copy to me, know if you have any questions
in relation to this questionnaire.
For those who may not know how to input data onto a pdf file, attached is a
step-by-step guide on the process. This should make completing the document
much easier.
