[Centres] COVIDSafe Plan update

Hi all, 

We hope you are all safe and well at this time. 

It has been a long journey but we are getting some light at the end of the
tunnel. 

CASP have reviewed the current situation and COVIDSafe Plan to provide the
following guidance to Centres. 

 

Before Monday 11th October: Centres that are in Rural and Regional NSW areas
that are not currently under a lockdown order can proceed in the same way as
before the school holidays: 

-          People attending the Centre must not live or work in a remaining
Stay at Home area 

-          All people in attendance at the Centre must wear a mask in indoor
areas and outdoor common areas (outside the arena)

-          All people involved in Mounting and Dismounting are required to
wear a mask

-          All Volunteers participating in the session (on the arena) are
required to wear a mask whilst on the arena, Standard exemptions apply for
those who have a disability or are doing strenuous exercise or have a
medical exemption certificate. 

-          Masks are compulsory at all times for Indoor arenas.

 

Centres that are in the Greater Sydney area must continue to comply with the
LGA requirements for people attending the Centre for essential horse welfare
and maintenance requirements. 

 

>From Monday 11th October all Centres that are not under Stay at Home orders
have the opportunity to resume minimal activities as outdoor recreation
opportunities at Level 2. 

ALL Participants, Volunteers, Carers and Visitors to each RDA Centre must be
Fully Vaccinated or have a Medical Exemption. This is to comply with NSW
Government requirements and is not negotiable at this time.

Between now and 1st December when the Vaccination rules appear to be
relaxing CASP will continue to review information provided by Government and
other Organisations and consider any feedback from Centres and Volunteers in
relation to any ongoing Vaccination requirements. 

Mask rules will change to comply with NSW Government requirements however
will remain strongly encouraged. 

 

Please get in contact if your Centre is experiencing any concerns relating
to implementing these requirements. 

Overall we ask that everyone conducts themselves with consideration to the
risks of the Delta variant of COVID-19 to keep themselves and others safe
and well. Don't attend Centres with symptoms, continue to get tested and
stay home as directed.
