Thank you Tracy for advising our SNC.

 

The past few weeks have been quite pectic for with the passing of my sister and Jan and I proof reading the Centre Addendums for the 50 year book, it has been rather busy. The good news is,  Jan and I are at the end of proof reading these remarkable stories.

 

They say you are supposed to slow down in your later years but that has never been my plan…..for a while I have been assisting our Castle Ridge Resort Ambassador with emails.  Dennis has been volunteering for some 20 years as Ambassador with the RVRA ( the Retirement Village Resident Association).   Dennis just turned 102 years young!!.  Uhe contracted pneumonia and was in Hospital for a couple of months.  Dennis asked if I would take on this role.   What can you say to such a remarkable man but yes.  By the way,  Dennis is back to his daily walk now round 2klms, until being Hospitalised, his daily walk was 4 klms!!!!  Dennis also walked in the Anzac Parade until he turned 100 years….. now he accepts a ride…..My idea of telling you this story is  that it would seem your never too old to enjoy life!!!

 

By the way, how are you all going with your Annual Audits…. I’m just about to organise mine.

 

So thrilled to have Jan on board to assist me with the Metropolitan Region, she is a great positive person to work with.  As you can imagine, we have some laughs along the way. 

 

Looking forward to catching up with everyone at our next SNC Meeting.

Hello Everyone,

 

I would just like to let you all know that as of today 28th July 2022 The Board of RDA (NSW) has confirmed the appointment of Jan Pike as an Assistant Regional Rep to work along side Margaret Norman for the metropolitan region.

I am sure that together they will be great assets to  their centres along with our other RR’s.
