HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BEAUTIFUL HORSES 🐴


Hello everyone and a big neigh to all our beautiful horses,

Tomorrow we acknowledge and celebrate all our beautiful horses, so remember to give them an extra scratch, an extra carrot, a shiny red apple or that sneaky bit of licorice. It is there special day.  PLUS
RDA(NSW) awareness week commences, a time where we appreciate the difference the bond between a horse and rider makes to that rider, their family, their schooling and most of all the moment they have a moment of freedom, independence and achievement.

                                    Have you seen the happy people?
                                             The really happy folk!
                                   Though they bear life’s greatest burden
                                          And wear life’s toughest yolk.
                                          Still find life’s greatest problems
                                                 With ease are cast aside
                                                   When lifted to a saddle
                                                     With dignity they ride!

August 1 marks the standardised birthday for every horse, with northern hemisphere equines celebrating their special day on January 1. The date, based on the equine breeding season, is used to standardise the industry, particularly horse racing, which uses the date to put horses in their age grades for races.
