I have returned from a lovely holiday with a friend and her family so now catching up with many emails.

Congratulations Jan, with your expertise in all phases of our Organisation I know you will be a tremendous asset to the team.

Hello Everyone  😊 

 

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that Jan Pike has accepted the position of an appointed Director in accordance with the constitution.

Jan brings with her a wealth of knowledge as a former Director and that of a rider and attending the Paralympics. 

With Covid now allowing us to have more events such as Mounted games, Workshops, Dressage championships and our 50th AGM fast approaching we feel that Jan is a great asset to support these events and work along side her fellow Directors and centre committees and disciplines to continue the legacy that Pearl Batchelor created.

Jan will take up this position commencing 14th November 2022.

I trust that you will all make Jan very welcome.


 


 


29    -      APPOINTMENT OF APPOINTED DIRECTORS


 

(a)              Appointed Directors may be appointed by the Board of Directors in accordance with its requirements from time to time, however always in accordance with this Constitution.

(b)              A Director appointed under this Clause 29 cannot be a person who, within the previous twelve (12) months, was an unsuccessful nominee for the position of an Elected Director unless the appointment is to be made in accordance with the provisions of Clause 27.2(b).

(c)              In appointing Directors under this Constitution, the Board of Directors shall have regard to the desire to achieve diversity and equity amongst the membership of the Board of Directors.
