[Centres] 2024 RDA(NSW) Dressage Championships, Mounted Games and Gymkhana Gala information

HI all, 

Please find attached the details for the upcoming RDA(NSW) Dressage, Mounted
Games and Gymkhana Gala Event. 

The event will be held at Sydney International Equestrian Centre from 23rd -
25th August 2024.  

Thank you to the Dressage Committee and Mounted Games Committee and
associated Volunteers for all the work gone into the event so far as well as
the work still to come.  The Mounted Games Committee have done a great job
with the video about the Venue which will hopefully answer many questions
and concerns. 

We hope to have a great turnout from Centres and both the Dressage and
Mounted Games Committee are here to help with information and to connect
everyone together to make this an awesome event.

If there are Centres needing assistance with bookings and require an invoice
to make the payment rather than credit card please email

If mistakes are made that is ok, we can fix it and refund within the booking
system so reach out if you have any questions. 

The reason we use an online system is to assist with keeping all the details
in the one spot and minimise the reconciling of the accounts system. 

This event is a user pays event with all entrants required to pay for what
they use including accommodation. 

Event details: 

Mounted Games Events: Centre Riders and Open events meaning that Centre
riders will be competing in a competition with Other Centre Riders only.
Open event will incorporate Associate and Open event riders.  

Rider in Action Events: This event is an obstacle course with a variety of
elements for each horse and rider combination to complete.  

Prix Caprilli: This is in dressage test format with a small jump (pole on
the ground in walk tests). 

Section D Dressage: This is a beginner Dressage test event - the Section D
test for Walk riders is the Novice Test attached 

Section C Dressage: This is where riders can participate in 2 Dressage tests
as part of the Dressage Championship. For walk riders the Section C tests
are the Grade 1 Novice and Elementary tests attached.  

Financial Assistance 

RDA(NSW) has a Rider Participation Fund in the RAM (Form- RID-04). Please
make an application to this fund if your participants have a financial
barrier to attend.  It would be great to have lots of Centres involved so
let's not make $ the barrier! 

The Board are arranging RDA(NSW) Event Shirts for all Centre competitors,
details will be sent out once entries have been received.  

Volunteers

The Event can't happen without Volunteers!  There are lots of opportunities
to assist with the event so if you would like to be a volunteer please
complete the attached nomination form and we will be in touch! 

Some of the Volunteer Roles include: Stable Manager, Arena Stewards, First
Aid, Pencillers, Catering and Presentation assistants, Scoresheet Runners
and everything in between.

23rd to 25th August are going to be great days so save the date in your
diary, get organised to get riders entered and lets have a great time
celebrating rider achievements!
