Active Kids program update

The Office of Sport's Active Kids program concluded on 31 January 2024 with
a new combined Active and Creative Kids voucher program delivered by the
Department of Customer Service commencing on 1 February.

New sport concussion guidelines

Earlier this month the Australian Institute of Sport, released the
Australian Concussion Guidelines for Youth and Community Sport and the
updated Concussion and Brain Health Position Statement 2024.

Sydney Academy Athletics Track update

A temporary athletics track has been opened on Oval 1 at Sydney Academy
following the closure of the Athletics Track after damage to the track
surface made it unsafe for use.

The NSW Institute of Sport has launched a new athlete documentary series
'NSWIS Lights Up' featuring the stories of 20 athletes as they prepare for
the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
