Please see some important updates below from Sport NSW.

ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER UPDATE

Further to previous updates on the Active Kids Voucher Program, we continue
to engage with Service NSW to provide you with the latest information.

In a meeting yesterday, we became aware that two vouchers can be combined.
This is a positive development!

That means that if a person creates the $50 Term 1 2024 Voucher and retains
it, once they create a $50 Term 3 Voucher from 15 July 2024, they will be
able to use the two vouchers to redeem $100 off their fees until 31 December
2024.  

Similarly, if a person generates the $50 Term 3 2024 Voucher and retains it,
they will be able to generate another voucher $50 voucher from 15 January
2025, and use the two vouchers together to access $100 off their fees until
14 July 2025.

For those that use an API for real-time verification of the vouchers, we
recommend that you contact your registration system provider to check if
they can redeem two Active Kids Vouchers in one transaction and have the
necessary API in place.

Separately, we have had some queries from sports that have had clubs
contacted by Service NSW regarding compliance requests.  We are in
discussions with Service NSW to simplify the process for entities that are
affiliated with an NSW State Sporting Organisation.  We will keep you posted
on this.

We also continue to advocate for further data to be released.  Currently, we
are aware that there are 4,783 providers, 156,610 vouchers created, and
74,527 vouchers redeemed.

LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD PROGRAM RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED

The recipients of the $30m NSW Government's Level the Playing Field Fund
were announced today. Congratulations to those that were successful.

212 applications were submitted with 26 successful, clearly demonstrating a
need for the NSW Government to continue and expand this program.  We have
stated that in our pre-budget submission.

RECORD NOMINATIONS FOR SPORTS FOYER NSW COMMUNITY SPORTS AWARDS

I'm delighted to inform you we received an incredible 180 nominations for
the 2024 Sports Foyer NSW Community Sports Awards. 

This record number of nominations is testament to your efforts to recognise
your wonderful contributors.  Thank you for taking the time to nominate.
